Nigeria Invites 90 Athletes to Camp for CAA U20/U18 Championships in Abeokuta The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has invited 90 junior athletes to a national camp as preparations intensify for the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) U20 and U18 Championships, scheduled to hold in Abeokuta, Ogun State from July 16 to 20. The camp will span three weeks and is designed to fine-tune the athletes' physical condition, improve technical performance, and build synergy, especially in the relay teams as Nigeria aims for a top finish on home soil. Speaking on the development, AFN President Chief Tonobok Okowa said the selected athletes will begin training immediately, with trials to be conducted later during the camp to determine the final squad. “These athletes will be invited to camp, and training will commence.
