 Teenage Sensation Treasure Omosivie Soars to New Heights



Thirteen-year-old Treasure Omosivie has made a stunning impact at the AFN National Athletics Championships, leaping to a personal best of 1.65m in the women's high jump event.


"I'm thrilled to have improved my personal best and competed against the best in the country," Treasure said. "It's a dream come true, and I'm grateful to Princess Mabel Madojiemu for believing in me."


The young athlete from Edo State finished fourth in a highly competitive field, won by national record holder Temitope Adeshina with a jump of 1.95m. Treasure's remarkable talent was discovered at the Princess Mabel Madojiemu Athletics Championships, where she cleared 1.55m just a couple of months ago.
